Banana, Peanut Butter and Cinnamon smoothie

Sometimes you need a green smoothie recipe that doesn’t taste like a green smoothie, youknow?
This is a truly delicious recipe for an afternoon pick-me-up when you’re feeling like a treat, but still want to nourish your body. It’s rich and creamy and doesn’t taste at all like vegetables!
I think this is a great way to get acquainted with green smoothies as the spinach leaves and avocado give a brilliant green colour, though have a fairly neutral taste that can be masked by the other flavours.

Ingredients

  • 60 g spinach leaves washed
  • 1 banana
  • ½ small avocado

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend for 1-2 minutes, or until completely
  • smooth into a nice, creamy green smoothie. Pour into glasses, sprinkle with optional
  • toppings if desired and serve chilled. Smoothie will thicken up over time if using flaxseeds.
