Cauliflower wings

It’s board game day, what’s your snack situation? Cauliflower wings are perfect for noshing on while winning game after game.
But these babies aren’t just a game day delight, whip them up as an appetizer for a get-together. A word of advice: make more than you think necessary, they go fast.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cauliflower head
  • ½ cup plant-based milk
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450 ° F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the cauliflower into florets.
  • In a bowl, combine the milk, water, flour and spices. Mix until you get a smooth texture.
  • Dip the floret of cauliflower in the flour mixture. Mix gently to cover all the cauliflowers florets.
  • Place on a baking sheet and place in the oven.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  • While the cauliflower cooks, prepare the sauce by combining the hot sauce, oil and maple syrup.
  • Remove the cooked cauliflower from the oven and place into the bowl with the hot sauce. Mix gently to coat.
  • Put the wings back on the baking sheet and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve with vegan sour cream.
