Change your transport

This is more location-dependent but if you live in a city, consider walking more. If it’s bikeable, bike more. Low- or no-emission options for the win.

If that’s not doable, consider switching to mass transit or ridesharing. If you need a car, make it an eco-friendly one.

Recalibrate how your home gets and uses energy.
From using more renewables like solar to upgrading to energy-efficient appliances, there’s a lot you can do in the home.

Make sure your house is properly insulated and lower your electricity bill by heating your home efficiently.
