Top 3 Dairy Milk Substitutes

Soy milk, pea milk, macadamia milk, coconut milk, hemp milk, rice milk, spelt milk…we could go on but we’re already putting out strong Bubba from Forest Gump vibes.

As you can tell from our definitely not exhaustive list, there are *a lot* of options when it comes to doing away with dairy milk. Which is pretty great because cows have better things to do with their day.

1

Soy Milk

Is there anything more classic than this one? It’s sort of the go-to for replacements and is certainly the most popular.

It’s got a comparable amount of protein to cow’s milk and the highest among the alternatives. Drink soy, get swole (not really).

2

Almond Milk

We’ll sidestep the jokes about how one milks a nut and cut to the chase, almond milk is a winner.

First of all, it generally has fewer calories than standard cow’s milk and it’s a stellar choice for baking. Obviously, skip this one if you’re allergic to nuts.

3

Oat Milk

Oat Milk is the winner for adding to coffee, no questions about it. There are sooo many options available to choose from, and you are bound to find the one for you.

And once you find it you’ll end up wondering why you ever even drank anything else. Oat Milk is usually the most ecological choice as well, so what are you waiting for? Go!
