Ginger, on top of being the official hair color of Scotland, is actually a delicious and useful root vegetable. Who knew?

We did. We totally knew.
Ginger is incredible year-round but there’s something special about using it during the holidays that just sings of the season.

1

Gingerbread

The classic, gingerbread is just pure holidays, right?

Regardless of whether you’re a fan of the bread or cookies and of course, we can all agree that gingerbread houses somehow always look better in our imaginations than they do in real life. At least they’re tasty.

2

Drink It

Sure, you can rock a ginger ale but is that really the best way to go?

It’s cool but try stepping it up and give ginger beer a shot, let that wash over you (you’ll thank us later). Then whip up a Moscow Mule.

Ginger is a great zesty and zingy add to just about any beverage but if you want to stick to the non-alcoholic route, no problemo, ginger tea is always a warm delight.

3

Soup Season

If it’s the holidays, it’s time for some warm soup. Unless you live in the southern hemisphere…what do you guys even do down there?

Anyway, if you’re jonesing for a hot bowl of comfort, you need to try carrot ginger soup. Like, now. Go!
